FAQ

How is Photosync IRD different from other window films claiming 99% IRR?
Most films claiming high IRR don't specify the tested wavelength, often dropping performance after 1000nm. Photosync IRD maintains high performance up to 2200nm, resulting in a higher overall TSER compared to others with similar IRR claims.
-
How does Photosync IRD achieve superior heat rejection?
Through patented Infrared Radiation Dispersion (IRD) technology, which disperses solar heat outside the window, significantly reducing heat transmission. This advanced technology surpasses all other well-known window films.
-
Difference from ceramic tints
Photosync IRD is not ceramic. Unlike ceramic films that mix with metals and show inconsistent heat rejection, Photosync IRD uses sputtered fiberglass mineral composite with Yttrium Oxide, ensuring consistent heat removal across all wavelengths up to 2200nm, outperforming commercial nano ceramic films.
Photosync IRD comes with a limited lifetime warranty against fading, peeling, bubbling, discoloration, and performance degradation, a first in the industry.

Difference between Photosync IRD and Photosync Ceralux
IRD offers faster heat dissipation, higher transparency, and greater heat rejection compared to Ceralux. It is designed for customers seeking the highest performance window tint.
